| Question Keely has been making this hacking sound like she's got a furball or something. I think it kinda sounds like a pig oinking, but my boyfriend says she's hacking. Has any of your babies made this noise before? I'm a lil concerned.

| Gypsy's done it when she's pulled fluff off a toy and it's stuck to her throat lining... also when she's wanted to be sick... Sorry, can't be more help than that.

| It might be reverse sneezing. Jake makes a sound that sounds kinda like a pig oinking, but kinda like a duck quacking when he gets really excited.....like when mommy or daddy come home. Fortunately, he did it at the vet's one time, and that's what the vet told me it was. |

| to me it sounds like kennel cough.. Layla had it a few months ago.. sounds like she is honking.. or trying to get something out of her throat... brin g her to the vet.. while they can't give her anything to get rid of it.. they can give her anitbioitics to keep it from turning into pnemonia... and try a vaporizer.. Layla got it at the groomers i think i hope for keely's sake it isn't kennel cough.. but to me that's what it sounds like.. let us know! |

| sadly it is easy... just being around other dogs... do you go to the vet or obedience or to get groomed or a dog park?? it is very easy to catch and sadly the vaccine you can get is like getting the flu vaccine... it protects against SOME flu types, but not all... |

| Ok, I've taken her to the vet but that was earlier in april, she hasn't been to a groomer yet. And she's only been to the dog park once and that was last weekend. I really hope that isn't what she has. She just did it maybe like a half hour ago and hasn't done it since. It was like 10 seconds and it was done. I'm going to call the vet tomorrow and ask him what to do. Thanks for the help ladies!

| Sort of yes and no. Not the honking type that she was doing. Poor baby. But the little noise she was making kinda sounds like what Keely was doing. But she only did it once and it was about 10 seconds long. Thank you though.
