| Adorable, who is this pup? From a previous litter? I just had to run to check on my squealers, I handle them so much, the quiet down when I pick them up now. They are 11 days old already, I cant wait til they open their eyes.

| Julz - I was wondering if it was from one of your previous litters? It is beautiful. I am waiting to see if mom wants one of mine. My father passed away - one year ago monday. She is free and happy, but she is thinking about it. I am not pressuring her (I did offer anytime babysitting service). She is fixing up the house and having a great time. Of course, I think she would love to have a little one to follow her everywhere.

| The puppy is very cute! I wish I could convince my mom to get one. I think it would be so good for her. Her poodle (THE BEST DOG IN THE WORLD) passed away 5 years ago I think and she cannot bring herself to get another one. She has always had dogs, but she is not totally healthy and I don't think she thinks she's up to it. |

| Sorry to hear about your Mom's health. If she doesn't feel she's up to it, she is probably right. A Yorkie puppy is a LOT of work...any puppy for that matter. They are totally energic and crazy to get into everything you own. I do think an older dog (you can't find a Yorkie adult usually) of a different breed or mixed would be good for her. When my St. Bernard died, it really was like loosing a child or family member. It has been a long, long time (8 years) and tears are in my eyes just typing this and thinking about him. She'll never get over him, but it would be nice for her to have a companion. There are groups out there (here one is called "Four Footed Friends". People foster dogs instead of having them go to a shelter. You can "try one out" and see how it works. If not, you can take it back. that might be a good option for your Mom, then she'll know if she is ready for one or not. |
