| Our dogs have plenty of toys and clothes, etc. Our Lab even has a $400 wheelchair and $7000 knees, so I think I can say this----why can't people put a lot of that money toward rescue? Maybe they do and it just isn't publicized. Let's face it, our babies clothes and accessories are adorable, but other than weather protection, don't we all just do it for our own egos and attention? I'm not dissing anyone, because, like I said, my babies have lots of stuff, clothing, toys and treats. But when I hear stories about dogs like poor little Rio who needs LS surgery and her mommy can't afford it, it just breaks my heart to hear about someone wasting all that money that could go to help others. Okay...let me have it! I'm off my soapbox now.
