yes, it is much easier to keep clean. i tell you what tho, I am regretting ever cutting it. I want her to have that yorkie face so bad but it is so hard to let it grow out after cutting it like that. it grows straight in her eyes and it is just so tempting to cut it back again. so think long and hard before you do
also, it is very pretty with her hair in a pony tail, but when her hair is not pulled back, she looks pretty rough. not glamourous at all. so really really think long and hard before you do it. you have had the "traditional" yorkie face so maybe it will be different for you. i have never experienced that and want to so badly.

well she thinks she is the hottest thing to ever hit the face of the earth. I try to keep her head from getting too big and tell her she is by far the pretties to us but she might not be to others. That kinda brings her down from her high and mighty thoughts for a while at least. so see how she hides when I tell her this? kinda sad in a way tho. lol

HAHA.... the only reason she has that "waterfall hairdo" is because we are practically starting over with her topknot. After we got Stormie and they started playing so rough and tumble, I realized that the hair at the base of her topknot was getting broken off. Now we rarely put it up because of that and it's finally getting long enough to have most of it in the topknot again. And V, I was showing Craig (my husband) Stormie's dogster pals and pointed your 3 out to him. He thought Chanel's braided topknot was awesome!

Edited to add: we love that leopard blankie (it goes so well with the house's decor). Someone her on YT made that for her and I wish I could remember who! Anyone want to take credit for it??

Hiya.....Yes I keep Tara's hair long and have never cut it since she was 6 weeks old, apart from her fringe and around her eyes ! It was always too nice to cut, and it flows so straight, that it never looks untidy ! Whereas Tammy's coat, my other female, is very thick - though I am growing it too, from shaved when I bought her last year at 3yrs old. It already looks thick !
I used to have nice long hair on my boy, but he kept peeing on his legs, so he has a short cut and a nice smell at the moment, lol
