Noah is a full Yorkie with a full tail, we have a Springer with a half tail he is a rescue so we couldn't do much about him, over here docking is very much frowned on, and most vets will not do it, and i must admitt, hand on heart i do agree with them, but that is me and i know everybody is entilted to their own views, so please can we be friends

Odd thing about typing, huh? No one can tell what tone of voice you are typing. See, I'm not upset with you at all...not one tiny bit, and I was hoping you weren't upset with me. We can definetly be freinds. There are a few vets around here that won't "crop" or "dock".

Very pretty little puppies, all of them! I would love to see them when they are full grown, they will be very unusual ;) What's nice is that they still are full blooded yorkies!...

Thank you very much! YOUR boys look adorable! You will be able to see this litter as they grow. I am going to post new pictures to the Photo Gallery once a week (they were born on Memorial Day so I will try and post every Monday) so we can all se how they turn out. I'm sure they are as new to many of you out there as they are to me. I couldn't find many pictures of red ones. I figure this way we can all see if they will stay red or if they turn chocolate.

Wow! I've never seen red yorkies either! They are darling! I hope you'll post pics of their faces one of these days...and pics as they grow! Thanks for sharing!

There are more pictures of them in the Photo Gallery. There is a close up of the face but he is only 10 hours old, so he looks a little more like a ferret. I will be posting new pictures once a week so we can all see how they develop! Thanks for looking!

I love your babies. :D The pic of the red and white yorkies is awesome. I will love to see them grow. I love the white spot. :) I have never seeing red Yorkie pups before and Im in love. Are you planning to keep them?

How much I have learned!!! Before this site, I only thought yorkies came in a few colors...ie black/tan/silver/blue. From this site, I realize they also come in choc, parti and now red! They are gorgeous puppies!!! Thanks for sharing with us!

Umm, someone has a blue, or a litter of blues. I wish everyone with the unusual colors would keep us posted with pics. I'd like to see them grow. I'd love to have seen SoCalyorkiLvr's (Kim's) orange baby as she grew up. She looks like one of those orange over vanilla ice creams. Sylvia

Well actually the breed standard in England is

Yes, that is the standard for the Yorkie breed. I never heard of any other colored Yorkie myself until Tiah had this litter as I have mentioned in other posts. I went on line and learned quite a bit myself. The colors mentioned above are the "standard" and the normal color. Anything else is a genetic color .... oh I don't want to use this word, but... kindof "mishap". They are not the desired color by AKC, but I have found that becuase it is rare for this occurance, the are desired by individuals who want something hardly anyone else has. I am just as curious as everyone else to see how they turn out. They are the only ones I have heard about that have white markings on their heads. I noticed yesterday that their nails are getting darker and they have darker spots on the pads of their little feet now. Also, the male with the bigger white blaze has little darker specks on his pink nose, but the little red girl doesn't yet. Both sets (boy and girl of each color) are doing great and the boys are both a little bigger than the girls. Hope this isn't more info than anyone wanted to hear.
