Your update today on Lola brings tears to my eyes. What a wonderful ongoing love story. I hope this thread on rescued Yorkies or any animals in our household stays alive. As some of you know, Charlie came to live with me two weeks ago, and I gave him run of the house while I was at work because he demonstrated he could stay dry until I came home. Well, in my second bedroom, the sun was streaming through, I looked down at the dust ruffle and shocked to see yellow stains. My wonder boy has been peeing in the bedroom. My nose is like a bloodhound, but I couldn't smell anything until I got down to the rug. Scrubbed the carpet and began a futile attempt to find belly bands at various pet stores. Long story short, I searched the web, found instructions, headed to the local fabric store, took two attempts to acquire the right sizing, and now Charlie will wear a colorful, flannel belly band while Momma is at work. This didn't upset me because I did expect it, but laughed at myself for being so clueless. Also, he is beginning to bond and notice he follows me now. These rescue pups are so very cautious and it is amazing how picking them up, holding Charlie close to my chest bring him such comfort. He still will not eat if I am in the kitchen though, so I place his food down and sit at the dining room table so he can see me. Such a sweet little guy and so happy he came to live with me. Warmly, Deborah |

Who are you kidding you are the angle and your little Chester is with you all the time. I still morn the murder not death of my first Yorkie 28 years ago. No joke. It took me 28 years to find a replacement in my heart for him and that is Lola. Chester will come back to you in another dog---you will see. Lola is my first rescue but she does everything that my first Yorkie did. Never ever does her eyes leave me or does she ever let me do anything without her. She does not suffer from seperation anxiety at all, she just likes being with me. I can leave her alone, I can go shopping anywhere with her. She doesn't mind at all. I truly believe that she is My Pepper (lst Yorkie) all over again. Chester is probably with you right this moment and will always be. Angles always return to who loved them the most. Great post hope to hear from you again. Lots of Love Lola and Mommy Troie |
