Your story sounds exactly like my life with Ciera :D She follows me EVERYWHERE!! If I am sitting down she is in my lap or right beside me, if I am giving my kids a bath, she is right there in the bathroom laying beside me on the rug. I say sometimes that I have someone in my lap 24/7 and my husband always says well you wanted a lap dog....LOL I guess you get what you ask for:p |
Totally!!!! I feel bad, even in the middle of the night when she's in a dead sleep....if I hop out of bed to go to the bathroom...boom, she's off the bed before my feet hit the floor!!! She's not like that with the hubby though, she just guards her mommy ;) Chhers, Amy & Crick-Crock:aimeeyork |
Molly too follows me everywhere. Even when I walk with my walker, back and forth, she goes with me, back and forth. I spent a couple days in bed last week with stomache "flu" and Molly never left my side! What a loyal, loving angel she is! Sometimes she will lie in her kennel or on a chair and watch me, but if I leave the room, she's with me. She HAS to know where I am ALL THe time! Kathy |

Yes, they follow me everywhere when i'm home.. that means even in the bathroom. Yes..they...because i have four (2 Maltese and 2 Yorkies). I always picture myself as their Mommy duck with 4 ducklings following me all the time |
my girl sarah and my boy yuri follow me all the time even to the bathroom.and when they are sleeping if I move or leave they'll get up out of their sleep to follow me.they are actually connected to me (did I tell you guys:) )room to room and back and forth following me.they both bump into each other to stay closest. but my girl can jump up on the bed and couch so she gets best spot and yuri will cry and scrath at me for me to pick him up.YES LIFE IS GOOD! THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'VE DONE SOMETHING RIGHT AND THEY CAN'T BARE TO BE AWAY FROM YOU FOR A MINUTE:p . enjoy(p.s. sarah is 5 and a rescue) |
Ava is for sure my little shaddow, and I say that to her all the time. She will follow me outside, up and down the stairs, and into the bathroom. I have to shut the door in my master bath or she will try and sit on my lap!! :) :) And when I shut the door she sits and sticks her wee little nose under the door and make funny little crying sounds.:p And when I am in the kitchen cooking, she will lay right on the rug at my feet at our island!! I had to laugh at all the velcro references because my mom says I need a velcro strip on my backside so that Ozzie can stick there and save his little legs the wear and tear! She always tells people that he would "walk through fire" to get to me. And I really believe the little bugger would, too. He loves to be picked up. At 13+ pounds, this can be quite a workout. And when I'm stretched out on the couch, he likes to lay on his back in the crook of my arm, lean against the back of the sofa, and put all four legs in the air. It's a sight to behold.;) Sometimes, when I'm taking a shower, I will emerge to find him laying on the bathmat ... like I'm going to disappear in the tub or something. |
