I can't find the post I read earlier and tried to respond to, but the woman was looking for a reputable breeder near Richardson, Texas where she could go look at the puppies and conditions in which the dogs live. I have a good friend who lives in Beaumont, TX. who has 9 Yorkies, 3 of which are stud Yorkies. She currently has 4 puppies that she will be selling when they are old enough. I drove from Huntsville, AL to breed my Yorkie with one of her males. If you will contact me at lorna@cedar-creek.net I will put you in contact with her.

Maggie goes to WalMart all the time in her Sherpa tote. Nobody knows. As I'm leaving I'm thinking nayanayapoopoo.....

I just want to yell out at the greeter, THERE'S A DOG IN HERE!!!! Of course I don't, but I want to!!!!

My dog is a bigger yorkie. 7lbs with long legs. I've snuck him in places enclosed in a celtei carrier (which i thought looked obvious because of myt small frame carrying a big bag)...never got found out. I just bought a large sherpa purse that "looks" like a purse. He is a little squished in it but for quick run in...he has not been found out. His biggest problem is that he is a squeaker. Not a quiet dog so I could never keep him in for long periods of time.
Have not tried Walmart but went in convenient stores and radio shack and target and no one was the wiser even when he was moving around. I only do it out of necessesity if we are out and about.

I think he was going there to look if they sold the frontline there actually. Not any of the generic stuff, just if they had the name brands there.

You really should just create a new post, Click the new thread button in the general yorkie section. Hope that helps!

When Amber was younger and smaller I would take her everywhere in my purse. I have not had the chance to actually go out and find a nice carrier that I like to take her with me. We would go to SAM'S, Wal-Mart, H-E-B and I think we actually tock her to a Grady's to eat one time. I know that dogs should not go where food is but she was so small and no one really noticed her. My mom rents the property next store to her business that she has operated for almost 30yrs to this little to go Mexican restaurant that has not been there very long, no one makes it long there. I tock Amber in to pick up my order and they told me that I would have to leave her outside.

I was like WHAT? My parents own this property! You don't even make enough money to pay your rent what the Hell are you telling me not to bring my dog in here! Needles to say I don't get my breakfast over there anymore.
