				 | Cody Refuses to let me brush him! Help! Does anyone have any tips to getting a dog to let you brush him? He goes nuts when I bring the brush anywhere near him and he just wants to bite it and run around. I try doing it after a walk or after he is done playing so maybe he'll be a little tired, but he just gets all crazy again. He has some matts in his hair so he needs a good brush, rather than just on the days that he gets a bath. |

				 | Reesee was like that. She still doesnt let me do too much at a time but I wait until she is totally relaxed and we are just sitting there and we are watching tv. I pet her A LOT whenever I am with her so she is used to the touch. I start petting her and slowly I start using the comb. I kind of hold her down a bit and use the comb, I try to keep her from turning around, I keep her back to me when I do it. She tolerates it a bit now. I dont do it too much. I do a little bit then stop. I have been working up to more and more.

				 | Brushing Ideas I couldn't brush Bella for anything; she would eat the comb and get all out of breath when the process was done. I finally put her in the kitchen sink; she stays still and doesnt move an inch. I think she is afraid of it...but it works. I give TONS of praise telling her how good she is. Works wonders |
