I am so excited everyone! Since, I was 7yrs old I have wanted a Yorkie and I will be going over the hill the end of May. I have reached that big 40.

On the 19th of May, I will be picking up our lil girl.

Born: March 19, 2007
Female/ we have named her Faith
As of yesterday, she weight 1lb3oz
Comes home May 19th

I feel like I need a baby shower, I have purchased a carseat for her, a front carrier, a purse carrier,toys, outfits, bowls,bows and all I need is a crate, and doggie food.

I am so excited! I can't get the picture to upload, any help would be great. thank you

Maybe try re-sizing the picture? Or make sure it's in the correct format.

Can't wait to see her! It's soo exciting getting a new puppy!

Congratulations on your new daughter. The name you chose is very pretty. I think puppy showers will be on the rise shortly. I already see baby puppy things in pink or blue in the stores.
Hope you plan on feeding your baby real food instead of dog food.

I'm a new mommy too, we brought home our little girl a month and a half ago. It's SO exciting to watch them grow and learn. It sounds like you've got all the right equipment to take great care of her! Have fun!!!

My girlfriend just had a welcome party/ puppy shower for my new pup, Coco. Brooke,Stedman and Tatum's mom , posted pictures for me. You can see them under Stedmansmommy.

We had the party at a local doggie day care. They had games ( Garbage gut and bobbing for hot dog pieces). They had a gorgeous cake from Three Dog Bakery - along with treats for the goodie bags. We also made up goodie bags with bobos and other doggie treats.

It was such a blast - all of the dogs had so much fun! I think the moms had even more fun.

The whole dog food issue, is confusing to me. Will someone help---I always thought that feeding a dog table food was not good, but then again, dog food can be all oil and scraps of crap

let me now...the countdown is on for the FAITH'S homecoming. Thank you on the complement about her name. My daughters don't like it at all... ;( but,by having faith in God, I knew that having her was just a matter of time. And his plan is much larger than mine, and now I am getting one. SO her name, was from always wanting a yorkie and believing that one day I would have one.

Hugs new mommies, any ideas I am up for...how is the potty training coming along?
