| Owen has a new life! Hi all, back in September I began viewing this site and wrote about Owen, my daughters yorkie that was kept in a corner 24/7 and was very unhappy and that I was on the verge of taking him off her hands if my other dogs could adjust... remember me?? Well my two females, greyhound and beagle loved him during his visits. My two males, golden and maltese absolutely hated him and I was fearful for his safety. But my daughter's boyfriend came home from where he was..don't ask.. and he just loves Owen. He let him out of that corner in the kitchen and potty trained him and now Owen sleeps on the couch and has the run of the house and goes potty on his pad and goes for walks and he has a wonderful little life. Just thought all you yorkie folks would like to know the wonderful news about Owen. Thanks, Sandi |

| Sandi, thanks for the update!! I had often wondered what happened with little Owen ... am thankful he has a better life now!! That boyfriend must be a really patient person!! Sounds like they are both "keepers"!!

| Yeah! It's so good to hear good news about Owen! Some people just really don't understand the needs of pets. Birds have the same trouble. My abirds are out of their cages all day --on play stands or on me. Eat fresh fruit , vegs, meat, etc. All animals are a big committment, and work, but certainly worth it. I wouldn't have it any other way! HERE'S TO OWEN! LONG LIFE! Pat |
