| a question about warm weather This is our first summer with Layla (well we had her last summer but she was too tiny to be outside for long) so i was wondering how i know when she is too warm... i feel so bad for them.. their coats are such a dark color they just suck in the heat... whenever she is outside there is water and shade available.. and i think that panting is ok.. but how do i know when she's had too much heat and needs to come in?? i find whenever she starts panting i panick that she is overheating... any advice would be great! |

| If she has water and shade and is with you and you aren't overheated, she's probably fine. I live in the "sunshine state" and mine have never had any problems. I usually get too hot before they do actually.
