| Trip to Petco... The fact that I'm finally bringing my baby home in two weeks and two days is finally seeming real to me... Me and my boyfriend went to Petco last night and got EVERYTHING we will be needing for our little Wobie. Well, except that my attention was diverted from food to clothes, so I got him 13 more shirts, but no puppy food! So we'll have to go back to get that. Luckily, my boyfriend used to work at Petco, so his former coworkers gave him a very generous discount! (Its still embarrassing to say how much we spent...) So, I'm all set. It finally seems like its really happening...But what do I do to keep myself occupied for the next two weeks until he comes home?

| 13 more shirts!!! Gosh, my baby only had one sock "shirt" for the first several days...... Maybe you could start a scrapbook - get some pages set up for the trip home, first day at home, first bath if you bathe him when you get him, first meal at home.... stuff like that. Boy if I shopped as much as you do, my hubby would probably tell me I couldn't even bring Summerlin home Good luck and stay excited!

| Aww, thats a great idea! It would be good to start on the scrapbook now, because I'll sure be overwhelmed once he's here... I know, I do shop too much for him. He's my first dog ever under 60 lbs, so the idea of a doggy wearing clothes is a novel concept!

| Congratulations to you both for your newest (soon-to-be) family member. For what you paid for those shirts, you probably could have bought a new sewing machine and made endless things for him, and made your money back by making and selling clothes. Just a mom and grandmother talking here |

Same with us! Since we got Chloe March 22 we have spent at least 2 full full-time paychecks.

| Its great that both you and your boyfriend are willing to spoil her. My boyfriend is the same way. He's a big tough guy (he's even in a metal band ) but he's a sucker for little dogs. He's just as eager to spend money on him as I am!

| I bet that was the funest shopping trip ever. I remember buying all Ging's stuff before we got her...it was almost as much fun as actually bringing her home! LOL

| Be sure to get the New Puppy coupon book - there are some great deals. Ask an associate for one - they ring it up but it's free.

LOL Do we have the same boyfriend? Mine's a BIG guy (6'4" & probably 275lbs), lip pierced, plays drums, listens to hardcore metal, but loves his little Chloe baby to death! He even bought her a super expensive ($50!) collar after I told him it was too expensive. But according to him I spend too much money LOL
