| I hate HOLIDAY INN in Richmond, VA!!!! I have to travel quite a bit and I prefer to bring my baby along wherever I go...So this time, it is my time to spend some work time in Richmond...I specifically told the guy who handles travel arrangements to reserve me a room at a pet friendly hotel...I specifically told him to reserve me a hotel room at a HOliday Inn as I read on their website that they do accept pets... After a long stressful day of having my baby very sick and in and out of vet, I arrived to Richmond and guess what? The hotel is not pet friendly and they refer you to a kenel close by if you must have your puppies...It is not completely this hotels fault as the idiot who reserved this room confused the Holiday Inns in town and reserved me at the one that does not accept pets...I was so pissed off and could not even talk out of anger...THankfully at that point, my precious love was sleeping in my bag and the rude woman at the reception desk did not even see him... Now, I sneaked him in my hotel room but I will be working all day tomorrow...I will stop by around noon to make sure things are OK with him but then will go away until 4:30 once again... I am very scared that the cleaning ladies or somebody will sneak in my room and kick us both out...My baby usually does not whine that much so I dont think it would be a problem but you never know...I will alsy put the DND sign on the door and turn on my TV so that they cannot know he is here...I am so scared at this point that I cannot even focus on my to-dos for work... At this point, I cannot check into another hotel as my company will not pay for it and honestly all the hotels are booked for today and tomorrow (the two nights we will be here)... Please send me some love and suggestions on what else I can do to prevent the hotel people from kicking us out!

| Oh no! I'd be so stressed if I were you! I think everything should work out okay, you're taking all the neccessary precautions you can, with the DND sign, the TV, and its not like he's going to be barking all day... I'm sorry you're having such a bad experience, hopefully it just flies by and you get to come home soon, where you don't have to hide your little one.

| Rest assured they DO NOT go into your room unless you put the request maid sign out. You could sue them royaly. Buy some Rescue Rememdy and give him 4 drops 45 minutes before you leave so he doesn't stress. It's all natural. If your nervous and upset, he will pick up on that for sure. |

| I've brought Sparks to hotels and am always a nervous wreck. I've tried to get him used to being sneaked in a bag...but he is not great at it. A whiner. Anyways, I was worried about the DND sign for two reasons: one...i have had maids knock on the door with it on there and open the door and offer towels. two...I've had people steal the sign off my door. suz |

| I was staying at a resort motel on vacation. I put the sign out on the door do not disturb. I went down to the beach to catch some sun. My room was close to where I was at & I ran back to get a couple of things. The cleaning lady was in the room & in my drawers. She had a lint shaver out I had bought & was using it on her outfit. I was very upset & told the office. I checked everything after & nothing was missing. The office didn't say much about the ordeal. I checked out & went elsewhere & never went back there. I had been going there for 3 years in a row & it didn't matter to them. It's no longer there, they sold the property & put up condo's.

| I used to work at a super 8 hotel as a cleaning lady and if you put the dnd sign up we were not allowed to enter. we werent even allowed to knock. Being a cleaning lady you deal with a lot of stuff i doubt a cute little puppy would be a problem. |
