| Natural Balance RECALL! I saw another YT'er mentioned this on the Yorkie Health & Diet forum, but I wanted to post the information here, too: NOTICE: We are receiving consumer complaints regarding the Venison & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food, and Venison & Green Pea Dry Cat Foods. We do not know what is wrong with the food at this time, but we have heard that animals are vomiting and experiencing kidney problems. Please discontinue feeding all Venison and Brown Rice Dry Dog Food, and Venison and Green Pea Dry Cat Food. We are working closely with the FDA. We will update this website today, as more information comes available. THIS ONLY AFFECTS OUR VENISON & BROWN RICE & VENISON & GREEN PEA DRY DOG AND CAT FOODS http://www.naturalbalanceinc.com/ I was THIS close to picking up this food earlier when I bought puppy food. I picked up Artemis instead. THANK GOODNESS! |

| I watched the news down here, and they stated some pet stores still have the discontinued food on the shelfs. So be careful on that also.

| I don't know if it's an OFFICIAL recall, but this that's the info I found on their website!

| Official recall or not, its nice that they're voluntarily alerting consumers, rather than waiting until more pets die.

| I agree Anna_Banana...I wouldn't take any chances... People were having questions as to whether it was the canned or dry...It's the DRY.

| I had NOT seen this! I know I have samples of this stuff and I've been feeding different kibble here and there in addition to cooking for them. There is just nothing safe.
