Lucy is floppy, too. We fell in love with her this way and we didn't want her to change. We never shaved or trimmed her ears when she was little. Her ears are not big, but her hair is heavy and long on her ears.We were glad we made that decision for her. I like the look of the ears up also, but this is a perfect look for Lucy. |

As it turned out, she has really thick, heavy hair on her ears and when we first got her groomed they shaved the tips and they still didn't stand up. People ask us all the time what kind of dog is she and they don't believe she is a Yorkie because of her ears and size. I love the floppy look and would never have taped them. I think the stand-up ears are adorable too. I love both looks. |
My Tootie is floppy, My Hopey is not! I have never done anything either way nor cut their hair. Tooties ears are just so soft and cute! Hopey's ears stand and she has very long hair on her ears too.. I think its just genetic, meant to be or not.. my babies are both perfect just the way they are! Good Luck with your baby! d |
Both of mine have floppy ears I love it! I think they are way cute like that. |
Ginger and Bernie both have floppy ears...if you want to leave them that way, go for it! |
I don't mind it either way... I love both the looks. But I didn't know that they could stand without help. I thought we had to tape them so they would stand... and that I don't want to do. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens : ) |
