My Girls are Getting "Busy" with EACH OTHER!!! Is that normal????

My two girls Jolie and Jen are sayin' "Let's Get It On" with each other! I find them mounting each other and they got the hip action going like they're boys! Is that normal? I've had 4 female dogs before these two and none of them has ever done anything remotely close to this.

Is it normal???

HAHAA I've heard of many boy dogs that do this.. as well as girl dogs, so YES this is normal from what I've heard!

Oh my gosh, Corinne, that post just cracked me up!! I've heard that girls do that for dominance. LOL My girl doesn't do that to Miko thank goodness, or he would probably be saying, "Help!!"

I've heard it's normal. I don't know where females pick it up, but I've seen it before. Supposedly, it's just a sign of them trying to dominate each other, nothing sexual about it.

I third this comment. Buffy and Faith "do it" all the time. Faith will actually wave her butt in Buffy's face so she can hop on and do her thing, LOL. They were both fighting for dominance (being both very dominant females) in the beginning. They have finally set the "doggie" pack order and are now best buds.

Yup, it's definitely a dominance thing, but nothing to worry about unless they start humping people! Then you need to make sure they know that they are never more dominant than a human. I adopted a cat from my work and he has a neurological problem, so his movement is all messed up. Anyhoo, he came in with another male cat and poor Paris used to get humped all the time. He wasn't able to get away - it was so pathetic. He just laid there and took it like a champ!
