Yup, it's definitely a dominance thing, but nothing to worry about unless they start humping people! Then you need to make sure they know that they are never more dominant than a human. I adopted a cat from my work and he has a neurological problem, so his movement is all messed up. Anyhoo, he came in with another male cat and poor Paris used to get humped all the time. He wasn't able to get away - it was so pathetic. He just laid there and took it like a champ!
