Poor baby!! Its places like that who should be shut down for good. I dont go into places where they have pets cause if I say something like that I would start a major fight and have alot of bad things to say to anyone who would listen. I wish people would stop buying things or pets from places like that and shut them dowm for good.

the pet stores are asking big bucks for yorks these days. There is a lady from yorks town around here that sells to pet shops. She always looks well dressed and the puppies look nice but she doesn't want anyone coming to her kennel because she says it upsets her dogs and it takes along time for them to settle down. Makes me wonder. She allows the inspector. Jackie

Believe me, I have avoided this store for almost a year! We have a pet turtle and he eats a special kind of plant. I have not been able to find it anywhere in my area, except Petland. I have been driving about an hour out of my way to go to another pet store that supplies this plant, but yesterday I was desperate and I had to go in! I told myself that I would not look at the puppies and I would go staight back, get what I needed, and leave.

Well, what do you know......

When I walked in the door one of the employees walked right in front of me carring this little yorkie. At that point my plan flew out the window because my children were begging to hold this little girl! My heart just broke when I saw her! When I saw that she was shaking all over, I asked the manager what was wrong with her and she said "Oh she's alright, they all do that!" I don't think so! My first thought was her liver, but after a few minutes she calmed down and started playing and acting fine. I just think she was terrified!

I do hate those stores, and believe me, I won't be back!

Your kids were probably wondering what was wrong with the little yorkie too...I agree with you, I avoid those stores!

I went to Petland a couple of times, but I had to stop going because those little puppies were making me cry! I hate how they have them like in a store window, like a "thing". That cage is sooo cold and sad! Poor babies
