I do not think you can register any mix dog with AKC. It only registers pure-bred. A mix of two pure-bred will only be a mix or mutt (not offense by the way, here!)

Ok thanks! I was just curious as she does have them listed as AKC yorkies and the other dog doesn't even look like a yorkie (color wise), so then I just started thinking about that AKC thing.

Me too, that's what I thought as soon as I saw the picture, Maltese. AKC will only register purebred. I bet the picture was added by mistake.
