| Update on Champ who was the meanest yorkie ever Champ turned a year old on April 8. He is such a good little dog now. If you are having trouble with your dog, don't give up there is hope. I posted several months ago about all of his bad behaviors. I took him to the Petsmart beginners class, I really enjoyed it and he learned alot. I would recommend it. He did always try to bite the blood out of me, he has stopped. He would never let me hold him or pet him. He now lets me hold him and pet him and I don't force him to stay when he is done with me. He quit chewing up everything. I was letting him have free run of my house, he was peeing and pooping all over my house, stains everywhere. He is potty trained now. The people at Petsmart said to confine him to one room and not let him have free run of the house. I put up a gate on my family room where we are all the time and he is not allowed in the rest of the house anymore. I crate him when I am out. He had only a couple of accidents in the beginning and that was it. I don't know why he won't go potty in this room like he did in the rest of the house. He goes to the door and lets us know when he needs to potty. I wish I would of confined him to one room so much sooner. Anyone having trouble potty training try this and take them out often. I don't know what mostly helped Champ, I think he grew up and the training helped, too. He is a fine little dog now. I've tried in the past posting pictures of him, but I couldn't get them the right size. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That's great. so many people give up on dogs when they don't act perfectly, instead of trying to work with them. Congratulations

| Aww you should be so proud of yourself and Champ. This is where alot of folks go wrong because they give up on the dog instead of putting in the time and effort to make it work. I believe in that saying that usually its not a dumb dog, but a dumb owner (don't want to offend anyone). We learn together and sometimes need outside assistance. Your persistance paid off and now you have a pal for life who no doubt just wants to please you. This is awesome..Hope you can figure out how to post photos cuz we'd love to see him... |

EDITED TO ADD - here's some picture posting help RESIZING To make sure your pictures are not huge and resize them...This is one of the easiest program on the net to resize your pics....http://bluefive.pair.com/free95.htm Scroll to PixResizer……Download the program..it’s really small and very easy to install – Depending on the size of your image you just have to click ONE SIZE (USUALLY 50%) or 460 Pixels and it resizes it for you... SAVE YOUR PICTURES AS JPEG’S or they will not show as thumbnails. ONCE you resize and want to upload photos into a post ... In your post, Scroll down and you’ll see Additional Options Click MANAGE ATTACHMENTS Click BROWSE to find the picture on your Computer Double-Click the picture – then click UPLOAD Click Submit REPLY
