| Looking at Yorkies tomorrow I'm very excited. We are going to look at 4 Yorkie boy pups tomorrow. They are young, only 8 weeks, so we won't be bringing him home even if we decide to get one of them, but I'm just excited to hold a baby in my arms again. I hope one of these puppies works out, the lady sounds wonderful. They are home raised. She asked me as many questions as I asked her, so she sounds like a responsible person. She wanted to know a lot about where the puppy would be going. We finally all agree on a name "Tucker". I can't wait to have a fur baby in our family again. We'll always love and miss Bandit, but it's because he was so wonderful that we can't see ourselves without another Yorkie. I'll let everyone know what happens tomorrow, and if we decide on one, I'll take a picture, too. I need advice on what we look for and how to tell if the puppy looks healthy. Wish us luck!!!!!!! |

| Congratulations! I have heard that one of the ways to tell about the personality of the puppy is to see if it wags its tail and if its up when he walks? Also, you don't want to get a puppy that is too shy bc its a sign that it doesnt exhibit a stable personality, but you also arent supposed to get a puppy that won't lay on his back at all and let you rub its belly- I think they say its a sign of dominance (?). As far as looks...straight back/level topline, clear eyes, no discharge from eyes or nose, you want black toenails, lips, nose and eye rims, level bite and no missing teeth, flat head (not domed bc sign of hydrocephalus). I'm sure some of the breeders on here can attest that some of these things will be hard to tell at 8 weeks bc they are still going through growth spurts, but those are some things I have heard and read about! Best of luck! So much fun holding a baby!!!

| dianne I am sooooo excited for you. I read with much sadness your pain at losing bandit and knowing that I was going to get my fur baby soon I really felt quite guilty for being so excited. My little baby (prudence) is asleep on my lap as I type this.I have had her a week tomorrow. She is 9 weeks old on wed and is 1pound 8 ozs.We just love her so much. Its quite scary having such a small baby I just want to carry her around all day.Anyway please keep us posted about your baby I look foward to your posts dianne |

There's a puppy just waiting for you and I hope you find him tommorrow - It will really help with your loss and another little puppy will find love in a new home - It's a perfect balance ....your Bandit would want this...he's probably so happy knowing you're letting another one in your heart -they know they stay in our hearts no matter what - how great is that ! |

| If I was a bettin' girl, I'd bet that your not going to walk out of there without a new baby! Those little ones get right to your heart and since you have your choice of 4, the question is which one . Can't add anymore to what to look out for, but I bet that your heart is going to take over and tell you exactly which one! Good luck... Theresa & The Boys |
