| I am so glad to hear about the improvement. I asked were in NY you are b/c I live in Albany and have a great vet I would recommend but it sounds like you already have one (and I'm pretty far away) Unfortunately we at Yorkietalk have had instances where new members will post about a serious injury and it turns out to be a scam. We are a little cautious but nobody here intentionally meant to hurt your feelings or be rude. We are a group that rallies behind our members and we know the power of good thoughts/prayers so we will send them to you and your Tahoe for a speedy recovery. |

| Please don't take offense to people looking out to see if it's a scam or not. There's been scammers on YT before, some cases it's new members who have a sick/injured puppy and claim they can't afford medical bills, so the kind-hearted members on here fork over money and they find out there was really no puppy at all. It's just a precaution that us on YT have learned to take, unfortunatly we learned the hard way. No one is trying to offend you, everyones just looking out for eachother on here. Anyways, glad to hear that the meds are helping your baby and I hope the best for him.

| First I'd like to say that I did NOT call anyone a scammer, I only asked that detailed information be provided so that anyone on YT with experience or ability to help handle the situation be able to do so without the worry of a scam. I apologize if my concerns were viewed as accusations. Sadly there are so many ppl that would scam causing others to ask a lot of questions. However, I took it upon my self to find Dr. Cathy Klemenger at Companion's Animal Hospital in Merrick, NY. I called and spoke to the clinic's administrator and asked specific questions regarding their services and costs. After some discussion we addressed Tahoe. Tahoe does have very serious injuries, he is paralized and requires expensive surgery and tests. Companion's does not perform the MRI or surgery but Tahoe would need to go to Long Island Vet Specialty Hospital in Plainview, NY. Compaion's did offer to help with the Care Credit paperwork but they are not sure that the specialty hospital accepts the card. At this time Tahoe's mommy has not applied for the card but if she is interested should contact Companions immediately. My heart and prayers go out to Tahoe. I would like to help if I can. If any members have ideas I would be happy to be involved.

| I believe you are talking about Care Credit...You can go to carecredit.com and read all about it, it is used in our dental practice and it can be used for vets, chiropractors and others, check it out, you can apply right online... yml |

| Tahoe's Mommy... Thank for you getting on and putting the suspision of a scam to rest. I can appreciate your worry, stress and concern for your baby. Just recently almost lost my Sophie, not from injury but from illness. She is recovered and I hope that Tahoo too will recover from his injury. I hate to hear that he needs such a servere surgery, I can't imagine that it is an easy surgery on him or his little body. I apologize for the doubt, (which was only because you seemed to disappear) it does sound as though you are a very busy lady with a family and very sick baby to care for. Best of luck to you and Tahoe.

http://www.vetspecialist.com/ The Small Surgery Doctor is Dr. Hinton: http://www.vetspecialist.com/index.p...VC2&number=100 They are a GREAT Hospital - They Do Have the Care Credit - And they also have FAITH - http://www.foranimalsinthehospital.com/ I really wish that you would either call Dr. Hinton or please have your Vet give you a referal to see Dr. Hinton. It sounds like his injuries are very serious and they should be addressed soon. Dr. Hinton is wonderful and I do believe they could help Tahoe and guide you in the right direction to make that possible. Please keep us updated! | |

| I really wish we could get her a consultation with a Specialist. I remember when I took Roxy to see Dr. Hinton the consult fee was about $135 or $150. I really wish this boy to get better asap, this sounds very serious and I do believe this needs to be addressed quickly. This Mommy sounds over-worked and over-stressed. Gosh, who wouldn't be I'd be willing to donate some $ towards a consultation with a specialist. Anyone else interested? |
