| Doesnt care for his Chew toys anymore!! Hi everyone! Im kinna having a situation with Rocky and his chew toys. I used to on and off give Rocky Rawhides, which he Really loved. I stop giving him rawhides becuz It would make him throw up. I also would give him greenies, velvet bones and nylabones. He didnt really care for the velvet and nylabones as much as he did for the greenies and Rawhides. But since I stopped given him rawhides, he has also lost interest in the other types of chew toys. He doesnt even care about his Greenies anymore! today i buoght some peppermint velvet bones, Hoping a new flavor would catch his attention but he just sniffed it and walked away! I also stuffed some treats in his kong ball and he just walked away from that TOO!! Whats with this BOY?? any suggestions on what other treats I should try? or wat i can do so he will like his chewy treats? Thanks -DONNA |

| As long as Rocky is not chewing on anything else, I wouldn't worry. My babies love stuffed animals. My niece informed me yesterday that I had a 'dead rabbit' on my patio. I was rather startled until I looked over to see their little easter bunny (he did look dead). He used to cackle. They especially love the laughing ones. They have chew ropes, dental chews (those stick kinds that are white) - they used to love those, but I do find they don't eat that stuff like they did while they were teething. Now I try to buy them small treats to stand and sit for.

| Wow! I can't believe he isnt into the peppermint velvet! That is the prized possession in my house...especially since I took the greenies away! I have two things you might try... How about the new Smart Greenie, they are melon flavored and are a hit with Tino & Bunny. They can't break off pieces of these like the old greenies, so they are totally safe. And my second suggestion is a Puppy Kong. I call this my babysitter bc I use it when I leave to distract them. He is always 100% focused on the Kong when I give it to him. You can get the filler that they sell or just fill it with peanut butter and keep it in the freezer until you give it to him. I got both of these at PetSupermarket. |

| My dogs favorite toy - part of a sheet ripped apart where I tied knots here and there. I swing it and drag it and they chase it and bite it and growl at it - it only works as long as I am holding it, but it's so much fun for all of us

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | They go thru stages where they really don't chew as much - Both mine do that then all of a sudden one day they LOVE their nylabones - especially if the other one has it - so don't get alarmed - Kongs RULE but - Have you tried the carrot flavored Nylabones or the Euculaptis ? |

| Thanks for the replies, the reason why i am worried is Becuz HE DOES find other alternatives for chewing, LIKE my SHOES, the toliet brush (yuck), paper, just about anything that isnt his chew toys, The rawhides used to keep him busy, now im lucky if he chews on one of these things for 10 minutes...I will try the greenie smart chews, thanks again guys! |

| I tell everyone this but i would DEFINITELY try a bully stick, they are awesome, they cant choke on them like rawhide and it can keep them busy for hours because they take so long to chew. It takes all 3 of mine about 4-5 days to get one small enough until we take it away! |

| I bought my bullystick from Brooke and My two dogs (i hadn't gotten Cloey Lyn yet) and they LOVED IT! they yelled at me when i'd take it away! they barely jus finished it, so i'm going to get them another one, so that way Cloey can enjoy all the fun too! I hope you find something that'll work for your little man |
