| Biscuit used to have free reign, but he recently lost his privileges from too many accidents. In his crate, he holds everything better. Willow is too small to hold all day so she is in her x-pen with her crate, toys, pads, and food and water-I worry about her having a hypoglycemic episode because she is still so small. Once she is bigger, I will x-pen them together so they can play while I am gone. I always leave the radio on for them too and if he can, my boyfriend will stop by mid afternoon to take them out. But mostly they go 8 hours and do just fine. |

| i still confine winston, 3 years old to the kitchen area, with a baby gate. he is totally trained to go potty only outside, but he still has low blood sugar's, so i don't want him to be too active while we're at work. he has his bed and blankie a few toys he sleeps with, and of course food and water. I really think he just sleeps 99% of the time. we do come home for lunch, so he's alone like 4 hours at a time. |

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Bengi is going to be a year old this month and up to now he's been staying in the kitchen when I'm gone. He has his bed, food and pads. My husband wants to grant him free run of the house, but I'm still undecided. I know I can trust him, because he never touches anything... I'll see. I'm gonna start a thread about my case, I think. |

| Dior is 7 months and before i got Diesel my 3 month old. she stayed in the bathroom. I had to scrub it down daily. Now they both stay in the crate while i am gone. And they are doing very good with potty training. Dior whines until you put the alarm on to head out the door. |

| I close the bedrooms and bathroom doors. This gives him access to the living room, kitchen and hallway. I have a small condo. He has had this freedom since he was 10 weeks old and he quite good while I'm gone. Most of the time.

| Lily is 6 months old and not quite potty trained. When I know I am going to be gone over 4 hours I gate her in the kitchen where she has food/water, her bed, and usually her Kong to keep her busy. She loves her kennel, so for shorter periods I put her in there when I leave. My mom has an adult Yorkie who has free reign with no problems. She sleeps on top of the couch all day long like the princess she is!

| I have a large 3 bedroom house, and it is just me that lives there. So that was my issue also. I am still trying to adjust her. Cupcak-Sprinkles is 5 months, at first I used a baby gate and blocked her off in my bathroom area, it huge, she has a bed, potty pads, and lots of room to play and toys. and Food and Water. From the day I got her, she holds her pee, until I get hime. Wierd, huh? After about 2 months, she stays in my room and there are puppy pads. She uses those now if I am not home or she holds it. Next I will let her down stairs. |
