| Sue - don't worry about me! You have enough to worry about right now. You are right, I have control of my baby, I feed him all the time from his mommy and weigh him about three times a day. I feel like he will be holding his own in no time. I know there is a chance that there is a reason he is not gaining properly, but if that is 'nature's course' it will not be because I didn't do everything I can to help him have every chance. We call him 'little batman' because he has a little white bat shape on his chest.

| Sue, how is Faith yours? Is she reserved or paid for? If she's paid for perhaps, a big PERHAPS, the breeder would let you take her and care for her yourself? You could go to a vet and get the milk and bottles. You can get one of those puppy warmers to keep her warm when you have to rest. Couldn't you do it? Sylvia |

| The Breeder emailed me last night and asked me to call her or leave my number so she could call me. Second hardest phone call I have ever had to make. My mother died on January 8th, and my brother left a similar message. It took me 2 days to make that call. However, I got the courage and the news is that Faith is being tube fed, but is still not doing well, Faith is whimpering and the mother keeps cleaning her. The breeder thinks this little one is in pain and is considering taking her to the Vet today. It is of great relief to know that Faith is being given the best chance for survival, and that this breeder has not given up on her. She also told me that she discussed me with another breeder friend, who just happens to have a 9-week-old female and that if I wanted to come over again this week I could see her. She weighs 1lbs and 2oz’s with a baby doll face. How very precious she sounds and of course I jumped at the chance. So there maybe hope for me yet, and Faith even though she is still not thriving, is alive and being given the best chance possible. So that it is not prayer alone but also everything that is humanly possible should be a comfort to us all. I also want to thank everyone here for their kind words and prayers for Faith and I will keep you posted. Thank you all so very much, Sue, |

| Sue, bless you for your caring attitude about your little one. Keep us posted. I will pray for you. God has a special puppy picked out just for you. It may be Faith or He may want to take Faith to be with Him. Just trust in His perfect plans.

| Sue - I am so happy they are feeding Faith, I hope she makes it, maybe her pain is just hunger. If she does have other defect, she will be home soon. I am glad you have another baby to look at, too. Waiting to hear about faith, and you. I wanted to tell you my baby seems to be thriving. He gained another ounce - 6 oz now, although the others are like giants now. I put their picture in the gallery in a little heart. He is on the bottom.
