| I do "respect" my dog, and I "respect" the fact that she gets cold here in Wa state and I am making sure to take care she doesn't get cold. I assure you I am taking excellent care of my dogs and their welfare! I also "respect" you for not dressing yours, everyone should do what they feel is best for THEIR dog...have a great day!

				   | None of my zoo wears clothes. Then I got my Bijou Yorkie right at X-mas time. We were having zero degree weather and dropping below zero at night. She refused to go outside (and heck I couldn't blame her LOL). Thus, I started using wee pads and bought her a few sweaters so she wouldn't shake all the time. She was soooooo cold. But now that the nice weather is here, we are naked and carefree EVERYDAY!!!!

For the best of my Peanut's "welfare", he wears sweaters in the winter because he is COLD! he constantly shivers. I don't think its a matter of degradation at all. If you're a supporter of natural acts, then I suppose you dont wear clothing either...?

The dresses my girls wear all have D links so I can attach a leash for safety....in the winter they wear nighties & sweaters cause they get cold.... I think most people with dogs that don't like being dressed don't dress them - but for those of us who do - let's not try to suck the fun out of it ok LOL !!! If you could see the happy faces some of us see when the clothes come out I think you'd change your mind.

				   | Cookie's my little boy and he truly does LOVE getting dressed! They are all tanks, tees or polo all light fabric. He goes nuts running and jumping in circles. He's a tiny guy and not much fat at all on his 3 lb body. Even though I live in FLorida, he shivers like crazy when he gets his bath. My house is always at least 70 degrees because hubby is an Eskimo! So I usually find Cookie under the sheets or in a laundry basket bundled up.I've taken him a few times "naked" to the pet supply stores and he's a total wreck shaking and trying to get into my shirt. If I put a blanky around him he totally relaxes and stops shaking . So I would have to say for some it's totally neccesary. If the furbaby is big or not is not a big deal. IF they love to be dressed up then who is it hurting lol By the way Villette after taking a break from YT. I came back and the first thing I saw was your girls in their new Harness dresses . OMG they looked like Supermodels. Really, really nicely done harness dresses! Genie,Cookie & Lola www.myspace.com/cookiefurbaby |

| My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I sure do! Roagan is 14 pounds and I still dress him. Summer time though, its alittle too warm. He goes skinny dipping with us in the pool he doesn't like to wear a suit cooler weather he has a coat and sweaters and t shirts. He has 4 legged jammies he wore for over a day and a 1/2 that I had to make him take off ! I dress all my babies They are not my "dogs", they are my babies...my life |

				   | I would love to dress my boys in cute yorkie clothes. They're bruisers (9 and 12 lbs), and I know they'd look adorable. I've tried putting cute t-shirts on, but they just stand there stiffly and refuse to walk. Baxter rolls over and growls and tries to 'rub' off the shirt. Snickers runs to his bed and covers his head. (Guess he's embarrassed).Oh well. Guess I should be happy they wear their winter coats.

				   | Lucy weighs 11 lbs and is a "girly girl" dog. She loves to wear dresses when we go out or have company. She especially loves her little dresses when she goes to the groomer for an afternoon of beauty I took both Lucy and Rebel to the groomer today and took outfits to bring them home in. Lucy was sooooo dainty in her pink with white polka dots dress with matching bow and Rebel thought he was handsome in his little green harness. In colder weather, they both wear sweaters or pull over shirts.

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Dayzee, my 11# dog gets a shirt put on her which settles her down; kind of like swaddling a baby. All the dogs wear harness outfits or dresses with a d-ring. Itzi the little one asks for sweaters or shirts; he goes to his drawer in the bathroom cabinet and either brings it to me if the drawer isn't totally shut or he sits in front of the cabinet and barks until I go and get him a shirt or sweater. |

				   | No, Tinka looks like a girl wanna be in clothing! It just doesn't look right on her. The most we do is a tank top once in a while. |

				   | I have always wanted a larger yorkie. I fell in love with one at the park and he was about 15-17 pounds. He may have been mixed with something else but adorable and he had a hat and bandana on. I would definitely dress a larger one |
