| Okay Let Me Have It ! I need everyone's input on what to do about dog food...mine didn't eat any of the can, well Max did in November the Nutro Max, but NOW my concern is the crap about dry....I have tried my best to feed them good stuff, but now I am afraid I am killing them ...I have Max (GSD) and the cats on Iams...I know not the best but Max will eat it(picky) and the cats I thought was better then Meow Mix, very picky eaters, the yorkies are on Royal Canin Yorkie, and I was going to switch Max after his was done with his big bag of Iams more than half full.....SO MY QUESTION is do I stop...and go to something else and what is safe to feed them...I can't cook all of them food, I know I should but I don't think I could keep up...so what do I do....

| Someone posted this earlier today and I jumped on it right away. After really looking into them they look really good. I love that this food is made in human food plants along side the same foods we eat. It is all 100% human grade food with nothing added that isn't needed. FDA approved. http://www.thehonestkitchen.com/index.shtml I went and got samples of it already and my 2 had it for dinner. It smelled so good that my son decided to try it. He said "not bad but alittle bland for his taste" LOL Kim

| That is a great link I think we are all a little scared of what we are feeding our babies. I know I keep waiting to see my brand on the recall (I'm paranoid). And I think I read the ingredients everyday It's all very scary!! Have you tried picking up some samples of organic food or different brands? |

| I feed Max organic meat roll in his dry food, but its the dry that has me worried...and the cats are so darn picky all they would eat for a long time was Meow Mix, so I finally got all of them eating Iams now they are saying they may recall the dry Iams... It is a scary thing, you would think as much tech. and all the resources we have in the US we wouldn't have to worry about things like this...

| http://www.threedog.com/ this is what ive been feeding maggie. She is just so picky and most times during the day she doesnt eat anything. I leave dry food down all day in case she decides to eat. So now in the evening I mix a few spoons of this with her dry and she eats it. But before I mixed it during the morning and she just has got where she will not eat anything at all till late evening. No matter what it is. Ive been feeding her this for about 4 weeks or so. you can see what ya think about it. I've not tried their dry, just the pouches.

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Soon as my bag is gone, I'm switching them to organic. I know it will cost me more, but my girls are so worth it!! Have you checked out www.karma.com looks like a GREAT food for them! about $40.00 for a 15 lb bag. But that should last a while if you just have 1 yorkie eating it. |

| I went to the store locater on thier site and the store that carries it in my area had free samples. She gave me like 6 of them and between my Teddy and my golden they only ate 3 bags. After all the reserch I have done I just don't feel like I can feed any dry and still sleep well at night. Partially due to the recalls but also because I don't like that it is not regulated by anyone and basically they can put anything in there that they want. I know for a fact that even the higher end foods are putting things in the food that I would not eat. Honest Kitchen is regualated by the FDA and everything in it is human grade. Meaning my dogs are not getting what's left of the cow and chicken after the humans get thier part but instead they are getting the same muscle meat from them that we get. I wouldn't eat all the left over stuff or many other of the things I have read about recently so I can't feel good feeding it to them. I think I can feel good feeding them this one. Kim
