| Pee Pee Pads I'm having a problem - when my boy uses pee pad he pees on his front paws. He uses pads on his own when I'm not home and if he goes on sofas or pillows they end up smelling like pee because of his paws. Any suggestions? Thanks

| I'll give this a bump for you. I'll leave it for the little boy owners. How old is he? Is he neutered?

| We had this problem when our boys were pups. What we did was fill an empty liter bottle with sand and stand it in the center of the pee pad. They lift their leg against it and it solves the problem. You could also buy the little red hydrant that some pet stores sell. It's the same idea. I hope this works for you!

| The boys' urine goes forward and they end up standing in it. Maybe you can confine him in one room until you get home. Judy |

| He's 15 mos old. Not neutered - Thanks some good ideas. He definitely prefers to lift leg and when he does there is no pee on his paws. I will try bottle in middle of pee pad.

| I have this problem too! Both TJ and Roxy can get wet paws. TJ when he pees it sometimes goes right to his front paws and Roxy has NO problem walking on the wet spots when she's trying to find 'the right spot' to pee. I have since covered my whole couch in large blankets and sheets. I strip it down every weekend to wash and re-line I haven't found a better way to combat this yet |

| Yup! percys little paws get gross as well. I went to the pet store and got those mats that you usually put in front of litter boxes for the same reason, to get yucky stuff off paws. I put them around the pee pad area, so that when he is done he is forced to walk over the rugs, it seems to be picking up any "excess" and I just hose them off and dry them at the end of the day.

| Ack! Actually, I really should have mentioned that I had to spray the pee area with house training spray, give it a little extra scent, so he knew exactly where to go.
