She's still a youngin! And adorable. Poor baby girl alone.
I would not hesitate to take her. Yorkies can live to be 17-18yrs.
My girlfriends Tiffany lived to be 18yrs with no health problems ever!

She has already lived longer than many with genetic illnesses. She could live another 7, 8, or more years. It is not uncommon at all. I'd get her in a heartbeat if I were you.
