New Habit Betty just loves to chew on those tendon chews...usually she makes one of us hold it so she can really put all of her effort into yanking on it! It hurts to keep holding it! Last night, I used pliers to grab onto it while she pulled with all of her might! Well, when it gets smaller and she can't hold it as well on her own, she barks to go outside. I take her out and she runs to find a place to bury it! She will dig a little hole (her legs going 100 miles an hour! LOL!), throws the chew in and then push dirt over it with her nose. After that, she digs it up immediately and moves it (apparently, it wasn't a good enough spot). She then starts the procedure over somewhere else. Sometimes she has to bury it in 3 different places before she is satisfied. At the last spot, she covered it with pine straw too! Her food is VERY important to her...I guess she want to make sure she never runs out!! LOL!!

That is so funny. Maybe she keeps moving it because you are watching her and she doesn't want you to come back and dig it up. LOL.

That is so funny! Tinka tries to bury her special things anywhere around the house. She tries to dig up the carpet (luckily she isn't successful) or bury things under other things. It really is funny to watch the silly things our dogs do, isn't it?
