| what would she look like with hair? lol does this seem ok? im in kent england, and the breeder is in Essex, about a two hour drive away, i emailed the seller today, to ask if she has pictures of the mum and dad with hair! lol so i can see what the pups will look like fully grown. ive never seen a shaved yorkie before, so does this look like a purebreed? this is what the for sale ad says: 5 little girls left, been raised in a family home, pups are pedigree but not kc reg, ?100 non refundable deposit will secure your puppy till she is ready to go. Breed Yorkshire Terrier Pedigree Yes Price ?350 Location Essex Ready 04 May 2007 Number available Dogs 0 & Bitches 5 Parents viewable Yes Injections inc No never seen an add with a non refundable deposit? is that legitamete(spelling?) and common? im just dying to have a baby of my own,but obviously want to make sure all is ok. thanks for your help guys, this site has been an amazing source of information and guidance on so many issues. i dnt know what i would have done without a site like this! http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...niac/99351.jpg thanks for looking

| hi ya im in kent gravesend where abouts are you in kent? id say the mum looks full to me but has got big ears but then again 350 is a good price for a pup, if you look on epupz you will see the different price range. pups should be seen by a vet b4 you take them and have there first injection, pup should also stay with the mum untill about 12 weeks to be on the safe side. good luck |

| puppy I do not think you will get a petite girl, do you have a photo of the sire? the mother is a big girl, but I am sure she would be much prettier with at least some facial furnishings...most breeders clip, but leave lots of hair on the legs and head...they do look fat and healthy... |

| thank you for your help yorkierose, i will wait then! i am willing to wait for my perfect girl... im glad i have you guys to consult to. no, no picture of the sire, i emailed and asked for pictures of mother and father (with hair! lol ) so i am learning it is alot to do with the look/size of mother and father. also whats your opinions on chosing the 'runt of the litter' ie the smallest, it doesnt always garuntee the healthiest? but im guessing will mean the dog will be 'smaller' than its siblings? again thanks for your help!

the thing is with yorkies you can never be sure what you will get, my first yorkie ben was very big and had light silver and cream hair, scampi my second yorkie had a very good pedigree but still had the same colouring as ben (lucky i prefer that colour anyway) i then got sasha who was black and tan and short and very pretty but her brother and sister were a lot bigger and not so nice looking, then scampi and sasha had pups who i still have who are now 13 years old (tye and zac) tye has the face of scampi but sashas colouring and zac has sashas face but scampis colouring. to be honest unless you are willing to pay a lot more for a good pedigree you will not be sure of what you will get, yorkies are ment to be under 7 pound but as you have prob seen most yorkies you see in the uk are over this, your yorkie could have black, dark grey, steel blue, or light silver hair on its body and could have red, tan or cream on its head and legs, or a mix of all of them, it could be anything from 2 pound to 15 pound in weight, have short or long legs, big or small ears that may or may not stand up, it could have a small short nose or a long nose, the only thing you can be sure of with a yorkie is the sex of it lol. one thing i have noticed is scampi ben and zac who all have cream on there heads all had a white stripe on there heads as pups, sasha who had a little nose and face had a dinky face as a pup so hope that helps. | |

| its never really ever mattered to me what they look like, ive always gone to meet the pup first and then i have just known the right one, the one that melts your heart is the right one. you could wait for the so called right one and just get one for how it looks and end up with one that you wont have such a strong bond with. or you may go and see some pups and one just sticks out to you that doesnt look like your perfect yorkie but you will have that strong bond with. im guessing you havent had a yorkie b4? please read up about the pros and cons on having a tiny yorkie. |

| my familiy have had yorkies, but i have moved out, and am getting a girl of my own. i read on one thread, about someone who 'settled' for a boy yorkie, when she really wanted a girl, she said that although she really does love him he wishes she had a girl... i dnt want to settle, and i am willing to wait for my perfect girl.
