LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | Does anyone make their own clothes for the yorkies? I have 2 yorkies. One is 3lb 3oz and the other one is 2lb 8oz. I have tried to get some clothes from uk but they are too big for them. Can someone tell me if they are doing any clothes themselves and give me some ideeas of how to do it.

| I have only bought two dresses for Summerlin. It was very difficult to find anything that would fit her, so I got those two dresses from a pet expo. Then I copied the basic pattern and added my own changes to it to make more dresses. She now has a wardrobe of about a dozen dresses that I have made from scratch and several shirts. I have also gotten several baby dresses, either size 0-3 or 3-6 months, sew a seam down the back of the dress so that it will be on her belly and adjust the straps to fit her properly and shorten it appropriately. Doing this, I can have super fancy dresses without putting a super large amount of effort forth. Small baby shirts are done the same way. Hope this helps you out |
