| Can decide whether to get a boy or girl! NEED HELP! Ok guys! I want a little girl for the simple fact that I want to dress her up and put beautiful bows in her hair but I want a boy for the fact that I hear they are more loveable. I don't know what to do. Can you tell me the difference in personalities? Maybe it will better help me decide. My husband says "You better get a boy!" lol I wish I could get one of both but he probably won't let me. Can you tell me what sex you prefer and why? Thanks, Christen |

| I'm the same way. I want to dress the girls but I always end up with boys because I love their personalities. (Jmo) I find girls to be sweet but more independent. My boys have always been so friendly, loving and always want to be with me. The stuff is not quite as cute but you can dress the boys and put in bows. I don't think we are going to be much help. You are going to get just as many people that love the girls as people that love the boys.

| I was looking for a girl, initially and that little guy just stole it. My heart that is . He isn't very much of a cuddly type to sit at your side all day but I like his independence and he's still Momma's Boy and could not imagine a sweeter and cuter dog, even without those frilly dresses and bows

| not sure it matters hmmmm I dont think you can just go by the sex to know right off the bat who is more loveable and a laplover. My personal opinion is get a good honest breeder to tell you when they are about 6-10 weeks old which one is the lover of the bunch and get that one. Sex doesnt matter much when it comes to personality. And I'm not just talking about dogs here. hahahaha!!!

| My Personal Preference!!!! Now this is just ME, I prefer my little female Widget , she dosen't lift her leg, is extremely lovable but also wants attention when SHE wants it...... she's definitely NOT a lap dog all the time.....which I also prefer.....my neighbors Yorkie wants to be held constantly.....and I can dress her up to MY liking....she is a real HAM at times, lol .....I've owned male dogs for the past 18 years and really find Her refreshing .....Again....this is MY PREFERENCE.........Plus she's adorable |

| I had the same question when I got Marley.....I wanted to have a girl to dress her up!...a year later Leeloo came along problem solved. Marley is sweetheart he is very lovable, but my Leeloo is more territorial and possessive You are going to love either one ! PS: after the first you'll probably get another one hehehehehehe! |

| I have a girl yorkie and she is loveable more then any other kind of dog ive ever had but she tends to like my hubby more then me She follows him arround every where. She still loves me to. I too wanted the girl one for the same reason of dressing her up and putting bows in her hair. I wouldnt trade her for anything. But I have a boy pomeranian and he loves me more so it evens out I still love them both |

| Recently I got a new pup...I had my deposit on the girl for two months..I made a list of girl names & I couldn't wait to get her to put the bow in & cuddle her....then the day came to do the pick up & I couldn't take my eyes off the boy that was running around there..I couldn't believe it..I was so determined to get a girl because I already had a boy..yet I was so drawn to this boy..the breeder was kind enough to let me change my mind & get the boy....I've found out it has nothing to do w/ the sex it's all about the personality & you can only determine that by seeing them in person. Good luck in your decision

| my boy sure does love to sit on my lap, but my Elle is a cuddler. She is def. a momma's girl. Whenever someone else holds her, she always looks to me as if she is wanting to make sure it's ok, and she isnt going to get hurt or taken away. All my babies are little lovers and gives tons of kisses. But my Elle has the sweetest personality of em all.
