Safe to Buy Nutro Dry Food?

I am still feeding the Nutro Lamb and Rice Little Bites Kibble and I went last week and bought some more at Petco. I was not worried much because I seen many shelves at my local petco cleared off and had recall signs up. I believe my kibble would have been pulled if they had a recall on it.

If they have recall signs in areas where they have pulled foods I would say they are taken pretty good attention to the situation.

My 2 yorkies are eating it now and I havent had anything unsual happen with them.

According to Nutro all of their dry foods are produced at two "company owned" plants in the US. They do not contract it out.

I feed Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice and will continue to do so unless otherwise informed.

No dry Nutro pet foods, biscuits or treats are impacted by this matter and no other canned or pouch products are subject to this recall. Nutro's dry dog and dry cat foods are produced at Nutro's company owned manufacturing sites in Tennessee and California.

I was just told this at work too. We feed Nutro Natural Choice and Nutro Max at our facility to over 75 dogs and have no problems. So I guess for now I'll stick with it. I'm also going to try cooking for them as well so if it comes down to it I can always give up the kibble and personally serve them my homemade cooking!
