| Congrats!!! Thrilled to hear you're getting your baby. Id bring a bottle of water, he will most likely be thristy from his flight. Also, a kennel for the car ride home with a soft towel or blankey inside. ( My opinion is it isn't safe for him to ride on anybody's lap) Maybe some paper towels "just in case"... Don't forget your hugs and kisses and keep us posted on how he is.

| Hey Schatzie, Thanks for the advice.. he is coming in a travel kennel/crate thing.. do you think that i need to get another one for him?? or can i keep him in that, after changing the towel or blankets in side? |

The crate he is coming home in should be fine. Keep in mind that it may be soiled from his long flight so you might want to bring something clean to lay in there. Also, bring a pair of scissors. When I received my pup via the airport, it was tied with those strong zip ties. I had to search all over the airport for a worker to cut the ties so I could get my baby out. I bet you are soooo excited!

| I picked up puppies 3 different times from the airport and was always told to bring baby wipes to clean any messes, pedialyte to give him to drink and nutrical in case they haven't eaten so thier sugar doesn't drop. It could be a long day of traveling for them even tho they are watched by the time I got them I couldn't think bout putting them back in their carrier. I hugged and kissed them all the way home as my husband drove!! Good luck and enjoy! I wish I was getting another! I was sooooo excited each time I thought I'd burst from waiting!!! |
