Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Who flys w/ 2 yorkies in one carrier? I may be getting another yorkie. Currently, we bring Wylie along if we fly - in the cabin. He is 7.5 pounds. We may be getting another guy - either a 2 pounder or a 4 pounder. I've read of folks flying both dogs in one carrier - can you share how your dogs do? Also, someone mentioned once that the airlines only charge ONE dog ticket if they're both in the same carrier - is that true for all airlines? How do you handle it? Do you even have to mention it when buying your dog tickets? Thank you SO much for any feedback, Ann |

| I need the answer for that too...hee hee I heard that one carrier that fits under the seat in front of you is allowed (if two dogs fit, that's fine) Is it 2 for 1 on the price? I'm picking up my second one this weekend |

| one dog per carrier in the cabin is all that is allowed. i know because i was going to deliver one to texas on my way to LA with one recently. wasn't allowed. I was told that all the airlines have this rule. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hmm....I know there are some folks who've flown 2 in one carrier, for the price of one. I think one of them is Mia's Mom and I can't recall the others. Perhaps only certain airlines allow this? |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Hoping someone had some good info on this one. In Aug we are going to FL for a week and I am on the fence as to whether or not to take my two or let dad puppy sit for us. I could fly both mine in one crate becuase they love to get into the kennel which is small and sleep together. It would be good if I could get away with one crate so I won't have to pay for two tickets if possible. Thanks for this topic guys!

| I don't think that you are allowed to carry 2 in 1 I have only flown on Jetblue (They only allow a total of 3 dogs/cats in the cabin) and they must be is separate bags. My Mom has flown US Airways (America West) and same rules. I guess you could try to sneak them, but what happens if you get caught? The flight attendents always look b/c the little dog is always sooooooo cute |

American airlines allows to pups to fly together in one carrier. There is another airline that will allow 2 toy breeds together, I think it may be Continental.

| Yes, you can carry two dogs in one carrier as long as they are not so cramped. You buy a ticket for one dog carrier only. The tag is to be put on the carrier handle. |

| From the info that I've read from the different airlines, they will allow two pets in the same carrier if they are under 6 months old (and small enough). I have heard of people flying with two that are older -- so I guess there's exceptions to the rules... |

| I've taken Jaden and Jewelina in one carrier before, it was a short flight though, only about one hour. I use my big one from Trixie and Peanut. They are both small though so they both fit under the seat. Never had any problems with them and it was all cleared with the flight attendent and service desk before boarding! |
