| We put ours in a section of the basement that dh could block off with a short makeshift wall. (it's just 3' high paneling hanging from a board that runs the width of the opening. The three foot hop (I've to a couple of chairs sitting so that kitty can jump over the wall onto a chair) is nothing for the cat, but keeps my little climber out. Keep in mind, a baby gates no match for this guy, he climbs them at will.
