				   | There are lots of dog food recipe books out there, I ordered Barkers Grub on line about 6 months ago. I started cooking for my dogs because one simply refused to eat canned dog food. I just googled recipes for dogs, books or something like that and it led me to several sites to choose from. I wanted the book so I could basically see what was Ok to cook for dogs and what wasnt. I usually boil a whole chicken and veggies once a week and add cottege cheese or grated cheese every now and then to add with it. On Sunday I made meatballs with rice and bread crumbs mixed in the meat mixture - they really loved that. So far they have liked all the differnt kinds of veggies I have given them. Actually, last week I made a big mixture of all kinds of veggies for them and they smelled so good, hubby and I had some of it for dinner too! |
