| Trouble with old Yorkie new Labradoodle pup I'm having a terrible time getting my 12 year old Yorkie, Zuzi, to get along with our 5 month old Labradoodle (1/2 lab; 1/2 standard poodle), Traveler Traveler is always bugging her to play and Zuzi just growls, snaps and "attacks" him. Her bit inhabition is extrordinary so she has never really given him a good bite or nip. Traveler thinks this is all just good fun. We are trying to teach Traveler that is is not alright to bug Zuzi but so far no real sucess. Zuzi is just getting more disturbed about having this big beast around and now snarls and snaps even if he isn't bugging her. Has anyone had a similar problem? I'm at my whit's end about to figure out how to get these two to tolerate eachother withouth harrassing eachother. Thanks. Shelley |

| It sounds like Zuzi is still not yet used to another dog in her domain. If she's been the only dog for 12 years in your household, it may take a longer time for her to adjust to life with a new companion. Is there any activities that both like to do? If so, you can try to get both to play at the same time or something... Good luck! |
