lol here is Peeka cross dressing for pics of the spring dresses lol ( he was jealous that Daisy was getting attention lol but he does not ware dresses)also some with bows

Opps, sorry 'bout that. But just the same, Ralfie is still gorgeous, and you are too. See.....I fell victim to the very issue we were discussing; the gender generalization. My bad. The really funny thing is....my mothers nickname for her whole life was Mikey. She was the third daughter and I guess her parents just gave up and called her a boys name instead of breeding a whole baseball team of girls while trying for the boy:grin2: I always thought it was cool that she didn't have a common nickname.

EXACTLY!!!! so why are some of you getting so snipppy by someone NOT wanting bows in their boys hair??? :confused: everyone does what they feel is best for their dog bottom line. there is no wrong or right or "standard" way.

My Pepper doesn't have long coat, even when he's out sporting just a harness (as long as it gets up to the 50s and up I try to avoid clothes unless there's some special occassion) and everybody asks if it's a boy or a girl. I'm learning to topknot him right now but I think I'd be skipping bows altogether, just the elastic (I'm still searching for the right one) - his hair is getting a little long and gets in his eyes and all over the ears sometimes :D . I think it's a matter of one's choice, to bow or not to bow. The showdogs are all bowed and long-coated, no matter boy and girl. If you want to dress your boy in flowery bows, it's only your choice. I'd be the last one to say anything about it...

i do i put blue or red ones on him he doesn't care for them so much but he's getting use to them stephaniet73 on ebay sales some beautiful sets for great prices or you could email her asking for a certain kind. her emails stephaniet72@msn.com i believe ill look it up to make sure

That's okay that Peeka gets to model the girls' clothes :p ! We know he is very secure in his manhood! Besides, he just looks so darned cute in his bow!

I don't think anyone was getting snippy...:confused: I think the boys look cute both ways! :) I don't own a boy, so I don't know how I'd handle it, but there's nothing wrong with clipping the hair short and going bow-less, just as they look just as cute with their hair pulled up in manly-colored bows! :p

There's more than one way to comb a yorkie LOL

Personally, i dont like bows on my little boy. Instead I use a little clip.. it was actually mine, but small enough to use on the dog =P

i use those same clips on maggie because they come in so many different colors.

i think you should do what you want with your baby boy. if you like those clips, go for it. if you want to cut his hair short, go for it :) i dont' keep maggie "standard" her hair is long on her head and body but I keep her muzzle short. just my preference right now. do what you like. as long as your pup is loved, happy, healthy, and safe, it doesn't matter how his hair is combed :)

I try to put bows in Louie's hair but Bella thinks he looks to feminine and attacks him and pulls them out.....:( I guess she wants to be the only "pretty princess" in the house lol.:p :p
