| My husband and I were parked at a rest stop in NJ; after he walked my two westies and my 12 pounder Yorkie (Paris), he went to use the rest room. I had my 4.5 pounder Yorkie (Harry) in the front seat with me. I was in a suburban. All 4 dogs started barking when this man, on his cell phone, was walking near my truck. Upon hearing the dogs barking, this other man, who was about 6'4" and very stocky, decided to walk over to my truck. I only had the back window on the passenger side opened about 4". My Harry was in my arms, barking, when he came near the window. I was in the passenger seat. The doors were locked. The man came to the driver's side window and was staring at Harry. He then asked if the dog was a puppy, I said no, he's full grown. With that, he wouldn't take his eyes off of him. He then proceeded to put his fingers into the opened window on the driver's side near my other 3 dogs. I felt uncomfortable to start the engine and roll up the window, not knowing if he was just being friendly or if he had something else in mind. As he was petting my dogs, they stopped barking, but Harry never did. Harry sensed something wasn't right. The guy kept asking me where I got him, where he can find a small dog like him, all these questions. I started getting nervous, because this guy was intimidating. I kept watching the entrance to the building where my husband went into, and as soon as I saw my husband, he was running towards the truck. The guy was still staring at Harry, and when he saw my husband near my truck, the guy took his fingers out of the window and said, 'you have a nice family.' I told my husband, let's get out of here. I was so nervous that something was going to happen; whether this guy was going to threaten me to open the doors, or whatever, I was just nervous. He had managed to almost get his entire right hand through the opened window when he was touching my other dogs, so my mind was racing. Anyway, this was the first time I felt so vulernable with my Harry. I couldn't stop kissing him and just holding him as we drove off.
