| Important question!!!! Do I need to be using conditioner along with shampoo?? I didn't even know there was conditioner for dogs but I saw some at the pet store. Is it a money scam or do they really need it? If so, any recommendations? |

| I use a conditioner to make sure all soap is out . I use mane and tail and it smells so good and makes the yorkies so soft.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | It's not a scam - they have hair very much like ours - conditioner is important to protect it and prevent drying - I tried several before finding one I liked and it was from a post on a yorkie site that hooked me on it |

A trip to Wal Mart 25 miles away seems like a big treat. I plan on taking Jack to Pets Mart in Springfield for a treat in a couple of weeks. Our big day out.

I bought a big bottle of the Mane & Tail and it tangled their hair SO bad that I quit using it. I now use a puppy shampoo because it has a detangling agent in it. But, if their hair still seems to tangly, I use a conditioner and make sure that I rinse it out VERY well. | |

| I used to use Mane N Tail, I also used it on my cat, her coat was great after. But I recently found a new love for Shampoo/Conditioner. Ginger's hair was so wirey and cottoney.. After A fellow YTer recommended it, i'd never go back to regular baby shampoo. I use the day to day shampoo, day to day conditioner and the ice on ice leave in conditioner spray from Chris Systems. you should check it out. these products were recommended by Brittie123, you should see her beautiful little Mia, she's an Angel and her coat is amazing, her hair is better than mine! (i hope you don't mind Brittany).. www.mylittlemia.com is her site, her babies are so beautiful! also here is the site for the shampoo/conditioner http://www.chrissystems.com/ |

| CC products are great! I also use Plush Puppy and I am in love with their products. I called Monica bc her number was on the site and explained Tino's coat and she told me exactly what I needed and was so sweet! I ordered over the phone and I had my order by lunchtime the very next day! www.plushpuppy.net Let me know if that doesnt work for you and I can look it up! |

| I think conditioner is essential. If your pup has dry skin it can help with itch but it also just makes everything a little softer and fluffir and for $5 or 6 you can't go wrong. |
