| It is definitely just the canned food. The dry kibble is OK. I feed my Mango the Nutro Natural Choice Small Bites Puppy, |

| The list is not complete! On my local evening news, they said there are over 80 brands impacted by this recall. Only 49 are listed on the web site. Iams and Eukanuba were included in the TV spot. They think the problem may be related to the wheat gluten. I think Gracie is sticking with the ProPlan canned puppy and Merrick's, neither have wheat Gluten. She is also just finishing a bag of Nutro Ultra. I don't think I trust Nutro anymore and will be transitioning her to a good quality adult kibble, like Royal Canin or Merrick's. Avoid the wheat gluten!

The recall in the Nutro line affects only WET foods that are of the chunk and gravy type. That does include ALL NUTRO ULTRA CANNED foods, as well as ALL POUCHES. ALL kibble in the Nutro Natural Choice, Max, and Ultra lines are safe as are the small dessert cans and any dog or cat food that is of the pate' form. This information comes directly from the Nutro website. www.nutroproducts.com | |

| Please excuse.... The Nutro Ultra Large Breed Puppy and Adult Kibbles do havve wheat, but I doubt that our Yorkies would be on the large breed formula. Again, The kibbles are safe. Sorry for the boo-boo. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Well I didn't want to take any chances and I got rid of my nutru max puppy and went back and bought Chicken soup, which was what I was using. I just don't want to take a chance. They are eating the kibble and not the canned, but still....just being cautious. |

| I'm tossing the Nutro Natural Choice Small Bites Lamb & Rice. I've been feeding this for a few months now, and this week our dogs have been throwing up. The vet says it's not serious unless they get dirrhea, also, but after seeing this recall, I'm just not taking any chances. Back to Innova or something else!!! |

| I used to feed Starsky and Shylah the Nutro foil packages a few months ago. That was when I couldn't get Shylah to eat anything. I would mix it with their Nutro kibbles. They haven't had it in over 3 months I think. Should I be worried? What should I be watching for? Their stools are fine and no vomiting. Anything else? I think I may change their kibble too. I know they like the Solid Gold wee bite food. It may cost more, but it is worth it to me.

| I found out I have 10 pouches of the Nutro Natural Choice Chicken & Rice but Petco said to just bring them back. Our little baby was sick last week and had to take her to the vets. Intestinal Bacteria infection with symptoms that were described by eating those foods. She was dehydrating so they had to give her shots of glucose under the skin, and she was on flagyl for 5 days. She's ok now, thank God , and Im sending the Vet bill with the returned food packets for $81, just to show them I went thru a terrible time with her. She's only 5 lbs. and quite a fighter to get better. So we been feeding her white meat chicken breasts, white rice, over her Royal Canin now loves the food. I hope they find the cause of the problem, just think all these dogs and cats are going to have to find something else to eat all of a sudden... If that were me I'd be very upset also. I hope everyone checks their shelves and brings back the food for refund. Petco said , no questions will be asked, I don't have the receipt for the 10 pks. I remember when Chicken Soup was recalled, she loved that too. Good luck to all, just wanted to 'bump up here'. |

I checked the dates on the list we dont have any of the cans recalled but I'm throwing them out just be safe! I'm calling the vet just to make sure! From now on im making my own food!!!
