| New to this site Hello Yorkie Lovers, I am new to this site and I think it's great. I am in the market to buy a Yorkie soon. I live in the San Diego area, so if anyone can recommend a breeder, I'd greatly appreciate it. I went to a pet store close by and fell in love with a little, female pup. She was hypoglycemic and I wasn't aware of the complications at the time, but have read this site and researched other sites. Boy am I glad I didn't buy her. I'll be looking at two puppies tomorrow from a breeder who lives in El Cajon. Wish me luck. Thanks for your expertise! |

| welcome to YT. I am glad you turned down the buy. Pet shops are not the place to buy a healthy pup or a place to help in stopping the puppy mills. Those poor puppies... there is a for sale section of YT. check that out for some good buys. or even check with rescue sites for your area. what ever you decide to do ...post pics. good luck and again welcome.

| Hi and welcome. Bless you for not putting money in the millers and shop keepers pocket from the misery of these poor dogs. I'm so glad you did some research before buying and I hope it works out at the breeders house. Look at the pups, mom and dad and how they live. If you decide on a puppy, ask that they get the bile acid test done before you buy it. |
