| I have a question. hoping for some answers. Maggie had such a thick thick coat of hair when I got her at 8 weeks. Well i've always brushed her after her baths. I brush her most everyday. once in a while I'll miss a day. Anyway. She is 9 months old now and when she was little I thought she would have a cottony coat. Well sometimes now I think its gonna be a silky coat. But heres my question. She is 9 months and when I brush or comb her. Her hair still comes out in my comb/brush. She still has a nice looking coat but the hair that comes out always looks like baby fuzz or something. She doesnt mat tho but her hair is still coming out everytime she gets brushed. I dont comb her dry. I usually spray on some detangler and comb her and her hair looks pretty good yet and she is taking omega 3,6,9 the dr recommended and before that shes been on Missing link since like October last year. Does anybody elses babies hair still seem to have lots of fuzzies comb out like that at 9 months or is this normal or does anybody know and if so, got any ideas why if its not normal? would appreciate any ideas about this asap. her hair is getting longer but not very fast seems like.

| Mine is almost 7 months and still loses some when I comb or brush. I think that's quite normal. Humans lose 80 to 100 hairs a day, so why shouldn't our pups? I know they're known to be non-shedding, but only to a point. Even my older ones still had hair in the brush when I was through. I wouldn't worry much about it. |

| thanks all, I have been worrying my butt off about this. I was waiting to see if it soon stopped but it hasnt. lol So here's a few pics I made to send for you to see and the hair I pulled out of her comb from one combing. this first one is the hair that came out of her comb and laid on a kleenex to make a picture for you to see if you think its like baby fuzzies. It does to me. I havent made many pics of her lately cause she isnt a real active dog and I dont have that many differents poses to make. lol . Guess she thinks shes too pretty to move around much. But she can run and she'll run and get a toy to chew on but she wont bring it back, but one thing about her. she is house broke and she dont get into nothing here. I mean I am amazed with her. even my family say they've never seen a dog like her that dont get into anything or chews on anything. She just wants to lay wherever i'm at. Or go outside and lay around. But she loves to walk on her harness to the lake and up my sisters and she runs then. LOL. So I aint complaining. shes good and i'm glad.

| Pepper's hair comes out just like that. His hair seems pretty thick but soft and silky at the same time and mats a little if I don't brush everyday (or every other day). He's 9 months as well

| What kind of brush do you use? If it has little balls on the ends of the pins, it will break off the hair and if that's the case, that might be why you see so many hairs. My girl has somewhat cottony hair and doesn't seem to lose any when I brush her. I use the CC gold brush. The pins don't have anyballs or roundy things on the ends. The ends aren't sharp, they are rounded off, just not like tiny litle balls. |
