| What is an inguianal? I am new to this board and looking to buy my first yorkie baby--- There is a breeder that has a girl--but says she had a inguinal repaired but otherwise in good health. What do you think? Thanks Daniela |

| Is that bad? Should I avoid buying this baby? What would cause this hernia in a puppy so young? |

| What it is - is a hole in the muscle lining along the sides of the stomach. The pup will probably need surgery to close it up. Sometimes they heal on their own, but not usually. You cannot breed one that has had this or show it. Once it has the surgery they are usually fine and no problems after. cost people have their dogs spayed that have this. T. |
