I got Oscar in 2004 and he was $500 and he is AKC. She now sells her males for $600 and her femailes for $700, I think. I would not take ten times that amount for him either! He is the best boy, so smart and so sweet! My little man!!!

Vixxen was $1600 and Truffles was $2500. Same breeder but I guess inflation and all

Don't regret the money spent one bit!
When I got Vixxen it was only a couple months after I bought my Maltese for $2000, plus shipping. So when I came home Vixxen I told my hubby she was $1000 so I wouldn't get in trouble. Somewhere down the line I told him the truth.
Then I got Truffles and told him she was $2000....till a couple weeks ago someone asked for my breeder info and I was telling her how much my dogs were...my husband goes...."how much?" lol! Now he walks around saying "hi twenty five hundred..."

I know a breeder who sells Maltese in Torrance for $600...I did not know they cost as much as Yorkies...

$550 as he was getting "too old" according to the breeder. She said after 4 months they get harder and harder to sell. Worked out perfect for us though!
