I paid $400.00 for Mattie because he is suppose to be over 7 pounds but I don't care. Bigger is better.

Rosie was $900 and I was really happy to find a wonderful socialized AKC registered puppy for that price.

I saw an adorable little Yorkie boy at a mall pet store (shudder) and couldn't help but ask how much he was. I almost fainted when they told me TWENTY FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!

I was also in contact with a terrible breeder in the next state who wanted $1850 for her puppies.

The only other place where I saw puppies felt like a puppy mill and they wanted $900 for ACA (American Canine Association - nobody I talked to ever heard of it) registered pups that were terrified of their own shadows. It was a very sad place to visit.

I paid $950.00 for Hannah. After seeing her pic I thought she was worth it, here is the first pics I saw of her. She is on the left in the 2nd pic. I am going to be getting another yorkie this summer so I have been looking around and I can't believe the prices. $2500-$3500 for a puppy-thats CRAZY! My husband has a freind whos wife raises them in VA and I think I will go look at hers. I think she sells hers for $600.00-$800.00 and they are AKC. There is a lady that I met shopping one day and she sells AKC registered yorkie pups for $100.00, I asked her why and she said that just how much she wants to sell them for. After talking to her I found out that she also raises chi's, pomeranians, fox terriers, and doxies....

I paid 200 for kelela. She is a yorkie mixed with somekind of terrier but the vet doesnt know what kind of terrier. but she is sooo nice and cute!
