| Maxwell was $650, chipped and neutered -- I flew to Iowa from VA to get him; that was just a month after I lost Brutus, who was $550 12 years ago. |

| Kobi was 700 from a good breeder, but DEFINITELY not show-type...but I'd pay 10X as much for him now. He's about 5lbs, but I wouldn't care if he was 2 lbs or 22, he's worth every penny!! P.S. The expensive part is not buying the dog...it's buying all the dog STUFF (they have to be spoiled...OBVIOUSLY)

| I paid 600 for maggie and she is perfect for us. I got her from a breeder about 2 or 3 miles from my house. she is ckc registered. I did register her, but dont know why now, shes just our pet.

| I paid $800 for my GiGi but I put a deposit on a different dog. I saw GiGi and i had to take her!!! I made the right decision. I talked to the former breeder and she said she had someone else to take the original dog but i willingly forfeited my deposit

| We paid $900 for Rosie and we paid $600 for Romeo - both from "hobbie breeders". I couldn't ask for better! The only thing is, we got Romeo too early (at 6 weeks) - they were going on vacation and wanted us to take him then. I would have preferred 8.5 weeks but someone else was coming to look at him that night and I couldn't bear it if they would have purchased him. Then, with Rosie's puppies, we sold the males for $800 and females for $900. |

| I paid $700.00 for my little Bella. The breeder lived 6 miles away from me. I would have gone to the ends of the earth to get her she is my little love.

| Bought my Samson for $600 from a great breeder in VA and his parents were on site. Drove 8 hours round trip to pick him up. He is AKC registered (full registration). He is so sweet. Love those terrier eyes. |
